During the opening season (mid-June - mid-September), we usually organize 3 or 4 flights, based on the needs of the Refuge. The first flight is in June, on the occasion of the official opening to the public.

The supply of food and other goods is carried out entirely by helicopter flights. Rifugio Tazzetti is not accessible by other means, except on foot. For this reason we rely on the Airgreen company of Cafasse which provides us with the helicopter transport service for essential food items, firewood for heating, gas cylinders, building materials, barrels of beer! We also take advantage of the empty return of the first helicopter round to bring down to the valley the bags with waste produced by the Refuge throughout the year. On the day of the flight, early in the morning, we meet at Lago Malciaussia to prepare the Big Bags and nets used to load the supplies and which are hooked by the helicopter thanks to the intervention of Airgreen technicians.
